Pilar joined the Enserink group as a post-doctoral researcher in January 2014 with a 2-years grant funded by the Fundación Alfonso Martín Escudero. She works in a personalized-medicine platform for leukemia patients, testing the sensitivity of primary cells from patients or healthy donors to a panel of anticancer drugs.
Robert joined the Enserink group in October 2017. He is working on the identification and development of novel and personalized treatment strategies for leukemia through computational analysis of high-throughput data from drug sensitivity screens and various omics-based technologies.
Nathalia's work is to develop and establish a genome-wide study in autophagy using budding yeast to further understand autophagy dynamic response in higher eukaryotes.
Karolina joined the group in September 2022.
Niveditha joined the group in May 2021 as Research assistant. She supports the project for the development of new immunotherapies for cancer patients.
Gayathri joined the group in May 2024.
Maria joined the Enserink group in November 2024.
Jeanne is working on the development of new antimycotics to treat drug-resistant fungal infections. She started her PhD. project with Nacho Garcia in 2019.
Andrea is looking into improving systems for personalized medicine in lung cancer through the use of 3D cell cultures and machine learning strategies.
Kaja's project aims to identify and study critical enzymes and metabolites implicated in autophagy regulation in yeast.
Janiek is a bachelor's student at HAN University from the Netherlands and she is working on research about drug sensitivity screening for acute myeloid leukemia.
