Clinical research projects

Group members are involved in clinical studies focusing on non-motor symptoms of Parkinson's disease, treatment effects of deep brain stimulation and longitudinal studies of Parkinson's disease.

Laboratory research

Laboratory based studies are based on collected biological material and clinical information from a series of Parkinson's disease patients and controls. Inclusions in studies are ongoing. To date, data from >550 unrelated Norwegian patients and >500 healthy controls have been collected. Samples are stored in a research biobank located at Oslo University Hospital (managed by the group).
