Family-based inpatient treatment for anorexia nervosa: a follow-up study

This project investigated the long-term outcomes of patients treated at the unit for children and adolescents at the Regional Department for Eating Disorders at OUS. Patients and their participating family members (parents and siblings) were interviewed and submitted questionnaires approximately 4.5 years after receiving in-patient family-based treatment at the unit. The main aims for the project were to qualitatively investigate the experiences of former patients and their family members as well as exploring naturalistic outcomes after treatment.
