
Mohammad Zoofaghari

Mohammad Zoofaghari is a researcher at the Technology and Innovation Clinic (The Intervention Centre) at Oslo University Hospital. In 2016, he completed a Ph.D. in electrical engineering at the Department of Electrical Engineering, Amirkabir University of Technology, Tehran, Iran. He has authored more than 25 journal and conference papers and managed several industrial projects in mmWave sensors.
He serves as the Technical Program Committee Chair of the 8th Workshop on Molecular Communications (Oslo, April 2024) and is an active reviewer for several leading journals and conferences in the field of molecular communications.
From 2016 to 2024, he worked as an Assistant Professor at the Department of Electrical Engineering, Yazd University, Yazd, Iran, specializing in communications and supervising more than 10 MSc and PhD students.
He received the Best Paper Award at the 10th ACM International Conference on Nanoscale Computing and Communication (NanoCom) in Coventry, UK, in 2023, and the Best Paper Award at the IEEE International Conference on Communications in Denver, USA, in 2024. He was also granted the Visitor Researcher Grant from the Research Council of Norway in 2021.
