Cand.scient. Gunn Annette Hildrestrand from Magne Bjørås' group at the Institute of Microbiology defended her PhD thesis with the title
"Intracellular localization and expression patterns of DNA glycosylases and their activities in murine and human stem cells"

She gave her trial lecture with the title "Hippocampus - cellulært og molekylært grunnlag for hukommelse on Wednesday 17 June 2009.
