Conference on Systems Biology and disease August 18-19 2008
The NTNU and Rikshospitalet University Hospital/The Norwegian Radium Hospital/University of Oslo will arrange the conference "Systems Biology and disase" in Trondheim August 18-19. Professor Arnold Levine (photo) - who discovered the tumor suppressor gene P53 and has contributed vastly to our understanding of development of malignancy is invited. The conference addresses the complexity of cancer using a systems biology approach.
Among the other lecturers are Anne-Lise Børresen-Dale and Vessela N. Kristensen from the Department of Genetics at the Institute for Cancer Research.
