Cand. scient. Silje H. Nordgard defended her PhD thesis, entitled "Genetic background and molecular phenotypes of breast cancer: From single gene variants to pathways and whole genome patterns" on Thursday May 15th.
Her trial lecture - on the topic Overview of genome wide association scans in cancer. Prospects for the future" was held the day before.
