Kristian Berg "President elect" of the European Society for Photobiology

Kristian Berg was chosen "President elect" of the European Society for Photobiology for the period of 2005-2007. He will then be President of the society for the period 2007-2009. Berg was elected during the General Assembly at the 11th Congress of the European Society for Photobiology, which was arranged in Aix-les-Bains in France September 3rd-8th. The position is prestigous, and demonstrates Berg's central role in this field of research.

Among the contributions he has made for the society during the last few years was to co-organize the ESP meeting in Lillehammer in 2001.
