Kirsten Sandvig appointed "Scientist of the Month" by "Helse Sør-Øst" for April 2012

The South-Eastern Norway Regional Health Authority (Helse Sør-Øst) aims to profile ongoing excellent research in the region by by calling special attention to a "Scientist of the month".

For the month of March 2012, this honor goes to Kirsten Sandvig from the Department of Biochemstry at the Institute for Cancer Research, Oslo University Hospital.

Research is an area of commitment for the South-Eastern Norway Regional Health Authority, which spends a total of 1.4 thousand million NOK on research every year.
