K.G. Jebsen Centre for Breast Cancer Research established
The foundation "Kristian Gerhard Jebsen" has decided to distribute 64 MNOK to four new research centres within the field of medical translational research - i.e. research aiming to bridge the gap between the laboratory bench and the hospital bed.
Each of the four centres will receive 4 MNOK every year for a period of four years, and one of these is the "K.G. Jebsen Centre for Breast Cancer Research", which will be led by Anne-Lise Børresen-Dale from the Department of Genetics at the Institute for Cancer Research.
