Ole-Jacob Norum won the "Best Basic Science Paper Award" at the EMSOS 2010 meeting
During the "23rd Annual Meeting of the European Musculo-Skeletal Oncology Society" the prize for "Best Basic Science paper/ poster" was awarded Ole Jacob Norum. This is the first time a Norwegian researcher has been honoured by this society. The award winning paper/presentation is based on research carried out in the PCI group.
The EMSOS 2010 meeting was held in Birmingham. It was attended by over 362 delegates from 32 different countries. There were 226 abstracts submitted of which 66 were accepted for podium presentation.
The award-winning presentation, entitled "Photochemical internalization as an adjunct to marginal surgery in a human sarcoma model" was based on the following article:
