Prevalence study

Little is known about the prevalence of DSM-5 eating disorders in adolescents in Norway, as the most recent community-based prevalence study was published more than 20 years ago. The aim of this study was therefore to assess the prevalence among Norwegian adolescents aged 16-19 years (827 girls and 730 boys) from six Norwegian upper secondary schools. This study was supported by Dam Foundation in collaboration with the Norwegian Association for Mental Health (Mental Helse). The project was led by Camilla Lindvall Dahlgren. Contact person Heidi Langbakk Skille.
