We focus on methodological and statistical research on the design of studies, data management and presentation of clinical research findings. In close collaboration with medical and clinical research, we outline strategies for diagnostic, prognostic, therapeutic and etiological research. It involves thorough understanding of statistical and epidemiological methodology, but also the specific research topics. Medical and clinical research objectives are developed into suitable statistical analysis and methodological approaches. Based on needs and experiences from advising and collaboration, we conduct scientific work on measurement instruments, adequate sample size, data collection, statistical analysis and communication of results.
