Interactions and enrichments
In many projects the overall aim is to describe the function of a gene or genes, and their potential interaction with other RNAs/proteins. BCF can perform analyses that explore questions related to transcription, translation, gene expression regulation, protein-protein interactions and so on. Here we apply gene set enrichment analyses, gene ontology, gene pathway analysis, KEGG pathway mapping etc. using established software packages.
Furthermore, we have license for Qiagen's IPA - Ingenuity Pathway Analysis software. Users of BCF may request that their data is analysed using IPA (more information here). Below you see some of the functions available within IPA together with figure examples from the litterature where IPA has been used to analyse the data.
