Maryam Mahootiha is a PhD candidate at the Intervention Centre, Oslo University Hospital, and the Medicine Department, University of Oslo. With an MSc in Information Technology Engineering from the Amirkabir University of Technology in Iran, Maryam has a solid foundation in computer engineering. Her passion for merging computer science with medicine led her to deepen her knowledge of the application of AI in healthcare. Her commitment to this interdisciplinary field is further demonstrated by her time spent at the Faculty of Medicine at UiO and the AIM lab at Harvard Medical School and Brigham Women's Hospital, which significantly enhanced her expertise in medical AI.
