Karianne Giller Fleten's project group: Experimental treatment of peritoneal metastasis
Peritoneum is a common metastatic site for several cancer forms, including ovarian and colorectal cancer. Peritoneal metastases are associated with poor prognosis with poor response to therapy, and there is a need to find new treatments to increase the survival and life quality for these patients.
Our goal is to find new and improved treatment options for this patient group by using in vivo models mimicking peritoneal metastases.
