Vascular Anomalies Research Group
The members of the Vascular Anomalies Research Group are part of the National team that has responsibility for vascular anomalies in Norway. This is a highly interdisciplinary group with expertise in various specialties within medicine, surgery and radiology. The research profile is very broad and investigates both the patient's self-report (PROM studies), new medicines for the treatment of vascular anomalies (prospective, randomized, crossover, double-blinded studies), surgery (prospective studies), new radiological methods (prospective studies) and comprehensive quality register studies.
Longterm goals
- To become one of Europe’s leading centers for quality registry data in patients with vascular anomalies.
- To produce leading research in the medical treatment of vascular anomalies.
- To become one of Europe's leading centers for PROM studies before and after surgery, as well as radiology, in patients with vascular anomalies.
