Preclinical and translational proton therapy
Welcome to the research group for preclinical and translational proton therapy! We are located at the research building, Norwegian Radium Hospital, Oslo University Hospital and at the physics and chemistry buildings, University of Oslo. We perform pre-clinical investigations of the biological effects of proton and X-ray therapy, and aim to translate relevant findings and radiotherapy approaches to the clinic. Also, we have activities in medical imaging applications and radiotherapy treatment planning and dosimetry, including biophysical modeling and artificial intelligence.
