Pediatric Neurosurgical Research Group
Group leader
The research group was founded in the beginning of 2023, and aims at coordinating and developing research projects that focus on pediatric neurosurgical topics. Even though pediatric neurosurgery per definition is limited to patients under the age of 18, this particular part of neurosurgery still covers the whole range of the field; from congenital malformations of the central nervous system to vascular and spinal issues, and in particular issues related to cerebrospinal fluid circulation and brain tumors in children. From this reason, the group is to a large extent multidisciplinary, involving researchers from several other research groups at UiO and OUH.
