Research interests

I have broad experience within the field of cellular and molecular biology, and I hold a deep interest in inflammation and its impact on disease. In my research I have studied inflammatory factors in patients with long-term juvenile dermatomyositis. I have especially looked at associations between inflammatory factors and pulmonary structure and function, cardiac function, adipose tissue distribution and occurrence of the cardio-metabolic syndrome.
