Research interests
My research centers on epidemiology and translational medicine in Systemic Lupus Erythematosus (SLE). Specifically, I am intrigued by the environmental factors that trigger the onset of the disease, the outcomes observed in rigorously validated population-based studies, and the quest for biomarkers that can enhance both diagnosis and monitoring processes.
