Fridtjof Heyerdahl is a senior physician specialized in anaesthesiology. He works clinically at the Air Ambulance Department, OUH, and as a researcher at the University of Oslo. His research receives funding from the Norwegian Air Ambulance Foundation. Main research interests include clinical toxicology, CBRN medicine, Pre-hospital use of analgesia, neonatal transports, and pre-hospital diagnostics (Ultrasound and POC toxic alcohol diagnostics). He is involved in several medical start-up companies and is the inventor of the transport isolator EpiShuttle and founder of the company EpiGuard.
