PD Dr. Niehusmann received the MD degree at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Freiburg in 2005 and completed his habilitation at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Bonn in 2013. Since 2012 he is board certified specialist for neuropathology. Since 2015 he is senior consultant neuropathologist at the Oslo University Hospital, Department of Pathology. PD Dr. Niehusmann is acting as national Norwegian reference pathologist for several international trials, member of the EORTC Brain Tumour group (EORTC 2013 trial) and since 2021 study investigator (50%) in the national precision cancer medicine, IMPRESS Norway trial.
