TRUNPD (Trauma Registry Ullevål & Norwegian Prescription Database)

Clinical data from approximately 12 000 registered severely injured patients between 2005 through 2014 has been merged with individual data on prescribed medications one year before and two years after trauma (2004 – 2016). The analyses commenced October 2019 and will concentrate on description of the trauma population compared with age and sex matched control group in the general population in Norway. The use of prescribed drugs might be an indicator of the quality of life after severe traumas. Prescription of psychoactive drug are of special importance; opioid prescription more than 3 months after trauma the most interesting variable.
