Lisa Marie Selmer

Selmer began her PhD fellowship at the Department of Cardiology, Rikshospitalet, Oslo University Hospital in 2024. Prior to this, she received her medical degree from Jagiellonian University in Krakow in 2019. Following her graduation, she completed her internship at Sørlandet Hospital Flekkefjord in 2021. Selmer then spent three years working in the medical department at Drammen Hospital.
Her primary research focus is on advancing echocardiography techniques, with a particular emphasis on evaluating heart tissue characteristics by high-frame rate echocardiography.

Supervisors: Professor Thor Edvardsen, MD, PhD, and Associate professor Helge Skulstad, MD, PhD.
