Klæboe started as a PhD fellow in September 2014 after completed fellowship in cardiology at Oslo University Hospital, Rikshospitalet. His PhD research is titled "Assessment of myocardial function by novel medical radar" and is focused on cardiac imaging and myocardial function.

Supervisors are: Professor Thor Edvardsen, MD, PhD and Associate Professor Kristina Hermann Haugaa, MD, PhD
