The Research Group for Children with Developmental Disorders and Emotional Difficulties

"The Research Group for Children with Developmental Disorders and Emotional Difficulties" is led by researcher Kristin Romvig Øvergaard.

The research group aims to provide new knowledge about children with developmental disorders (such as ADHD, autism spectrum disorders), with a primary focus on emotional difficulties (such as anxiety, depression, and emotional regulation challenges). It is known that children with developmental disorders have a high occurrence rate of emotional difficulties that may go unnoticed. The researchers in this group work on both population-based and clinical projects that assess the prevalence, course, additional challenges, and treatment needs/responses of developmental disorders and emotional difficulties.
