Welcome to Pål Kristian Selbo's research group: Photochemical internalisation (PCI)

Photochemical internalisation (PCI) is a novel technology for improving the transfer of macromolecules into the cytosol of cells. This is executed through photochemical targeting of endocytic vesicles, leading to release of the contents of these vesicles into the cytosol. The group's main focus is to develop PCI for therapeutic purposes.
