About the group
Our research group adopts a comprehensive approach, employing both qualitative and quantitative methods to tailor psychotherapy to individual patients.
While the efficacy of psychotherapy in treating mental disorders has long been recognized, understanding its optimal application for specific individuals remains limited.
Little is known about which types of psychotherapy are most effective for whom and the underlying mechanisms of psychotherapeutic approaches.
Addressing the pivotal question of 'what works for whom and how?' is fundamental to advancing our understanding of personalized psychotherapy and enhancing its effectiveness.
Currently, the group is conducting four randomized controlled trials, integrating qualitative methods to personalize and maximize the impact of psychotherapy.
Additionally, we are exploring the integration of new technologies to enhance accessibility for patients and amplify the therapeutic effects of psychotherapy.
