Zuzana Rosenbergova

  • Postdoc; PhD

Zuzana Rosenbergova has a M.Eng and PhD degree in Biotechnology from Slovakian University of Technology in Bratislava. Her PhD thesis focused on the production of recombinant proteins and peptides with potential pharmaceutical application. During her doctoral studies, she spent six months as a guest researcher at the Laboratory of Microbial Gene Technology (Dzung B. Diep’s group) at the Norwegian University of Life Sciences where she worked on identifying new antimicrobial peptides. She’s skilled in gene cloning and expression, microbial fermentation, and protein purification.

She’s currently focusing on the CCN family of proteins and their role in fibrosis.
