Ingunn Hanson
- Postdoc; PhD
Ingunn Hanson has an M.Sc degree in Nanomedicine from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology and a Ph.D degree in Radiobiology from the University of Oslo. Her research is centered around cellular and molecular mechanisms of disease. In her Ph.D project, she investigated the role of TGF-β3 in the biological response to ionizing radiation, including radiation-induced fibrosis. Her current postdoctoral project at the Institute for Surgical Research focuses on molecular pathways in the development of fibrosis, with emphasis on the CCN family of proteins.
