Young Researcher of the Year
EuroEcho is the annual congress of the European Association of Cardiovascular Imaging (EACVI). Every year they highlight some of the brightest young researchers and in the category clinical science, ProCardio member, Dr. Christine Rootwelt Norberg was announced as the winner.
Dr. Christine Rootwelt Norberg presented with the title: Disease progression rate is a strong predictor of venrticular arrhytmias in patients with cardiac laminopathy in a prospective cohort study.
Unfortunately, the congress had to be held online due to the pandemic, but the full scientific program was streamed in a live online format, with many opportunities to network and exchange with colleagues and presenters.
Other members of ProCardio also presented their abstracts in different scientific sessions at EuroEcho:
Dr. Marianne Forså - Sex differences in athlete's heart are evident from early adolescence
Dr. Isotta Castrini - Pregnancy history and long-term progression of cardiomyopathy in LMNA genotype-positive women
