Bendik Skinningsrud earned his medical degree from Jagiellonian University in Krakow, Poland, in 2021. During his studies, he actively participated in the International Evidence-Based Anatomy Working Group, contributing to several research publications, particularly in the area of anatomical variations. In 2023, he began his PhD candidacy at the ProCardio Center for Innovation, which is affiliated with the Cardiology Department at Oslo University Hospital, Rikshospitalet. That same year, he completed his internship at Østfold Hospital Kalnes. Before taking on his current role, he worked for six months as a resident doctor at Akershus University Hospital. His primary research focuses on myocarditis associated with Covid-19 vaccines in Norway.
