Ying Sheng obtained her PhD degree in Bioinformatics (Transcriptional regulation of microRNA genes). She has been working intensively with high-throughput sequencing data and variant calling from 2010, and develops pipelines for analysing diagnostic samples. She also works with validation and verification in accreditation of diagnostic methods.
