Unconventional T cells in skin inflammation
Unconventional T-lymphocytes are immune cells largely localized at barrier sites such as mucosal surfaces and in the skin. They have qualities of both innate and adaptive immune cells serving as a bridge between these compartments of the immune system. We aim to investigate their role in skin inflammation, with hidradenitis suppurativa as a model disease.
