Small RNAs are key regulatory molecules. They mediate the response to infection in the host as well as many aspects of microbial phisiology. The Microsymposium on Small RNA Biology was full of exciting talks and TTA was represented by one of our coordinators, Marta Gómez Muñoz.

This year, ECCMID (European Congress of Clinical Microbiology and Infectious Diseases) was held in springlike Amsterdam, Netherlands. TTA members and collaborates were well represented, presenting several paper posters and oral presentations. We had a great time 😊

TTA was present with a stand at "Forskningstorget" in Oslo Sep. 22-23. Oslo Science Expo (Forskningstorget) is part of the National Science Week in Norway (Forskningsdagene), a nationwide event held every year to make science and research available to the public. This years theme was "values" and TTA emphasized the importance of reducing the use of antibiotic and good hygiene to combat the development of antimicrobial resistance. |
