Background: Sigrid Børte has a medical doctor degree from the University of Oslo. She finished her internship before starting her Ph.D.
Research Project: Sigrid Børte is working with the Ph.D project “Genetic and environmental causes of migraine, a large-scale family-based analysis”, using the Nord-Trøndelag Health Study, a large population cohort from Trøndelag, Norway. In addition, she is involved in the HUNT-All-in neuropsychiatry group.
(Main supervisor/Co supervisor): Bendik S. Winsvold (main supervisor) and John-Anker Zwart (co supervisor)
Methodology and interests: Epidemiology, genetics, mitochondrial genetics
