We are very pleased to announce that Professor G. Allen Finley (MD, FRCPC, FAAP) will be the keynote speaker at the InteRSurg Research Conference 2026, taking place on September 24th in Oslo.
Professor Finley is an internationally recognized paediatric anesthesiologist and researcher in the field of paediatric pain. He is Professor of Anesthesia, Pain Management, & Perioperative Medicine and Professor of Psychology & Neuroscience, Dalhousie University; Dr. Stewart Wenning Chair in Pediatric Pain and Director, Centre for Pediatric Pain Research, IWK Health; Halifax, NS, Canada.
For decades, he has been a leading voice in the global effort to improve pain management for children.
At the conference, he will give the lecture:
“Preventing Unnecessary Pain in Paediatrics — What Everyone Should Know.”
This will be an inspiring and important session for everyone working with children in healthcare.
