ACTA ORTHOPAEDICA - OFFICIAL CONGRESS JOURNAL OF THE IRSA
A formalized 5-year publication partnership between the IRSA and the Journal Acta Orthopaedica has been established. We encourage IRSA members to support this partnership. The IRSA member benefits include:
- Indexing of RSA papers under a specific category – easy to locate.
- A general 50% article processing charge (APC) for all full-length RSA manuscripts, which are presented at the biennial IRSA congress and submitted to Acta Orthopaedica either before the biennial congress or up to 6 months after (= November 15th, 2025).
- A verification document for IRSAs congress participation must be uploaded with the manuscript and mentioned in the cover letter.
- A prespecified manuscript type “IRSAS manuscript” should be selected in the Manuscript Manager submission portal. This will ensure a fast review, and we need to support Acta Orthopaedica with reviewers. Please send an email to rikke.morup@clin.au.dk to volunteer for the “RSA EXPERT REVIEWER LIST”
- As always, there is no APC for members of a national society that is a member of The Nordic Orthopaedic Federation (NOF). This applies if the first author or the last author is a member.
- The nominated 2 best papers of the biennial IRSA Meeting will be offered a waiver free of charge.
