Norway Grants Lecture: The development of cell-based immunotherapy to treat cancer
Abstract:
Cancer Immunotherapy has gained major interest these last years, mainly after the first report of the CD19 chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) clinical study. However, although fascinating, the CAR solution is only the tip of the iceberg and alternative immunotherapies are being developed and tested. Our department has been interested in this topic for now more than 20 years, and I will present some of the technologies to the development of which we have contributed.
