Oslo region
The original SAMGEN committee, a consortium of the University of Oslo, the Agricultural University at Ås, and the Veterinary College, proposed a concerted action to strengthen functional genomics in Norway, what has since been implemented as the FUGE program (erronously advertised as an idea of the Norwegian Research Council). The board has now been renamed FUGE-east, the regional FUGE board for the Oslo region.

The board with coordinating authorities within bioinformatics, biotechnology and molecular biology at the University of Oslo, EMBIO, also functions as institutional FUGE board.
Project leader of the FUGE platform for microarray technology
Oslo Region
First leader of the FUGE microarray platform, run by the Norwegian Microarray Consortium. This platform offers nation-wide microarray services and courses, and provides computing infrastructure to facilitate the use of these technologies. See mikromatrise.no for more information.
