New group in Epigenetics established at the Institute for Cancer Research, Dept of Cancer Prevention
The 22nd of August Guro E. Lind was appointed group leader by the Scientific director of the Institute. She defended her thesis in 2005, and has been project leader in the Lothe group since January 2009. Lind is a young investigator of 35 years and has a strong publication record. During the last 3 year period as project leader she has 23 papers (including two in press), of which eight as 1st or last author. She is also inventor on eight patent applications of which two were licensed to a commercial company this year.
