Microarray Core Facility Ullevål
The Microarray Core Facility at Oslo University Hospital was established in 2015 and is supported by Helse Sør-Øst. The core facility consists of two nodes. One is located at Ullevål Hospital. The other is located at The Norwegian Radium Hospital (http://genomics.no/oslo/).
The core facility at Ullevål runs gene expression profiling based on the Affymetrix platform. The node at The Radium Hospital mainly employs the Illumina and Agilent platforms. The two platforms are collaborating in various ways.
The node at Ullevål was established in 2004 and has extensive experience with expression profiling. The node provides state-of-the-art laboratory technology and gene profiling services to the Norwegian and international scientific community.
The core facility is supported by Helse Sør-Øst and regional users are therefore a priority.
