Dag Rune Olsen appointed dean at the University of Bergen
Dag Rune Olsen - head of Department of Radiation Biology and leader of the Experimental Radiation Therapy group - has been appointed dean at the University of Bergen for a period of four years, starting the 25th of January 2010.
"After nearly 24 years in various positions at the Radium Hospital it is with mixed feelings that I have accepted the appointment" Olsen says.
"At the Radium Hospital I have been given opportunities and possibilities within a stimulating and friendly working environment that I have appreciated enormously. As dean I hope to gain more experience in leadership of a larger research and educational organization that hopefully can become useful later in life."
